Everyone knows packing for a trip can be a pain. The women usually pack too much and all the kids want to bring all their toys. Everyone ends up trying to sit on the suitcase, desperately trying to get it closed enough to zip it up. Fortunately, there are ways to avoid this!

Try to pack lighter! Get two or three uses out of an item of clothing instead of bringing 20 of them. Bring smaller deodorants, toothbrushes, etc.

Have all the bulkiest clothing on your person when you leave, especially if you are flying. Wearing and coats and big shoes will save a bunch of space in the suitcase!

Making My Bedroom More Romantic

My husband and I renovated our bedroom last year. I wanted the inside of the house to match the romantic style of the Victorian exterior. Especially the bedroom. I am romantic at heart, and I love things from the past, as can be seen in my antique furniture and decor. Once the wall painting was finished and the new windows were installed, we chose a beautiful wood flooring that looked like it came from an old plantation home. The flooring made me think of Scarlett O’hara and I had a vision of myself peeking out my new window to see if my guests had begun to arrive for my party. It was that vision that made me realize that shutter blinds would be perfect for my windows, and once they were installed they turned my bedroom into the romantic room I had been dreaming about.

Hace unos dias mis padres decidieron cambiar por completo la decoracion del salon de mi casa, todo iba muy bien hasta que llegaron los espejos del pasillo. El caso es que los mismos eran muy bonitos en la tienda, pero cuando nos llegaron los nuestros que eran los mismos que habian en la tienda. Despues de llamar a la tienda y comprobar todo las referencias, resulto que se habian equivocado de cliente, nos tuvimos que esperar una semana para que nos volvieran a llegar, despues de todo el lio, los espejos llegaron todos desportillados y tuvimos que volver a llamar a la tienda. Resulto que no tenian mas en la tienda y tuvimos que volver a esperarnos unas dos o tres semanas para poder tener una superficie reflectante donde poder mirarnos.
